New Zealand Christmas Wreath F R E E B I E!

This freebie is a thank you to all of you who have supported The te reo Māori classroom by using and commenting on the rauemi and sharing posts.
I have been overwhelmed by the interest and support and wish I could have produced more for you!
It's been awesome seeing photos of the resources in use and your feedback has been really appreciated!

The Significance of the Wreath

Wreath symbolism is a really interesting topic which your ākonga may like to look in to as an inquiry topic. The circle shape symbolises the hope of life renewing itself. There are other religious themes too.

This comes with embellishments to complete a 27cm diameter wreath. This would be the size of a large dinner plate. It can also be used as a starter and other found objects can be added. Lovely pōhutukawa looks awesome with a splash of glitter to catch the night lights.
I hope your ākonga enjoy this NZ style wreath and personalise it to make it unique.
